We spread Christmas joy to hundreds of people on Delmarva with our show, “We NEED a Little Christmas!” Many were first-time attendees who were amazed at the merry mix produced by six octaves of handbells and handchimes, synthesizer and percussion.
Would you like to learn more about joining Capital Ringers, as a ringer or volunteer? 2022 will be a rebuilding year. Like many nonprofits, we tried to creatively navigate uncharted waters during the pandemic. We made it, but now is great opportunity to come aboard.
Maybe you are ringing in a church group and would like to try different and challenging music. Maybe you are new to the area and looking for an opportunity to ring. Maybe you just love music and performing, but have never picked up a handbell.
Or . . . maybe you would like to volunteer your non-ringing talents – for instance, on our tech team or marketing team, or assist with outreach to schools.
“Our spring show will be ‘Here Comes the Sun,’ featuring Beatles, Disney and other inspirational arrangements,” said Linda Simms, Capital Ringers founder and artistic director. “Please spend a morning with us to learn about opportunities for you to participate in an exciting musical experience.”
The orientation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, January 15 on Zoom.
You must register in advance by Monday, January 10. If you have questions or would like to register and receive the Zoom link, contact Linda at keys2ring@aol.com or Judy Peterson at judy.peterson@capitalringers.net. For more information about membership, go to our Join Us! web page.
I do not have the link for the zoom meeting. I thought I registered for this meeting. Can you send it to me now? cwolek@verizon.net
Thanks,
