Rise Up! our tribute to you

Where do the Capital Ringers go after the year we have all had? Well, they go into new seasonal territory, summer and the Fourth of July, with an inspirational tribute to all we have endured and our resilience as a community.

“Rise Up! Reflect, Ring, Renew” will be a virtual show of six selections carefully chosen by the Capital Ringers’ founder and artistic director, Linda Simms.

“Music is healing, and we need healing after such a year of incredible loss,” she said. “My hope is that the music I selected for RISE UP!  will comfort and inspire others.”

Those selections are:

• The All-American Hometown Band
• America the Beautiful
• Go the Distance, from Disney’s “Hercules”
• What a Wonderful World
• You Raise Me Up
• You’ll Never Walk Alone

The virtual show will be available in late June, just in time for the Fourth of July. The Capital Ringers are also commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9-11.

“Rise Up!” will be available to businesses, organizations, churches, communities and nonprofits as an inspirational tribute and/or thank you. For $150, the Capital Ringers will build a customized web portal that can be shared with members, patrons, town citizens, customers, residents – the possibilities are limited only by your email list.

Cost for individuals is $15, and you may pay by check or PayPal.
